About the estate
The Château Charmail estate is situated in the Haut-Médoc on a gentle hill overlooking the Gironde river in Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne. The history of the property dates back to the sixteenth century when the Trevey de Charmail family settled in the region. Under the direction of cellar master Sébastien Pineau, the estate is transitioning to organic farming and focuses on biodiversity and minimal intervention in the cellar. The wines of the AOC Haut-Médoc denomination are characterised as structured, vibrant and distinctive.
