About the estate
The Chateau du Breuil estate is located in Beaulieu-sur-Layon within the Loire Valley in France. The vineyards are situated along the Layon river valley, which has carved out an exceptional terroir within the dark rock of the Armorican Massif. The local winemaking tradition dates back to the Middle Ages when the Angevin Plantagenet princes promoted the wines of their province. The production includes wines from several appellations such as AOC Anjou and AOC Coteaux du Layon.
