About the estate
The Château de la Selve looks back on a history dating back to the 13th century and was founded in 2002 by Benoît and Florence in Grospierres in the southern Ardèche. The 44-hectare estate is located on Cretaceous limestone-clay soils within the Côteaux de l'Ardèche IGP denomination. The cultivated vineyards are planted with five grape varieties, namely Cinsault, Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Viognier. Viticulture is strictly organic and biodynamic to support soil life and natural defenses. In the cellar, a low-intervention approach is adopted to naturally accompany the vinification process.
