About the estate

The Château de la Grange is located in Corcoué sur Logne in Loire-Atlantique and looks back on a centuries-old history that began in the 15th century. In 1981, Baudouin de Goulaine took over the property and expanded it to 50 hectares of vineyards, before his son Victor de Goulaine joined him in 2017 and took over sole management at the end of 2020. The vineyards extend over mostly silty-clay soils and are planted with grape varieties such as Melon de Bourgogne, Folle Blanche, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Gamay, Grolleau Noir, Pinot Gris, Merlot, Cabernet, Alvarino, and Colombard. The estate produces Muscadet Côtes de Grand Lieu on lees as well as white, red, and rosé wines under the IGP Val de Loire designation. The winery follows a reasoned and sustainable approach to viticulture without using animal products during vinification.

The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The estate sells to retail and horeca.
