About the estate
The Château de Berrye is a fully classified historical monument consisting of a medieval fortress dating back to the twelfth century, perched on a rocky outcrop. Surrounded by tuffeau stones, underground galleries, and dry moats, the estate is currently managed by the Colinet family, who have initiated a multi-year restoration program. Thirteen hectares of organic vineyards planted with Chenin, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon surround the old fortress. Guided tours including a wine tasting are organized on site, allowing visitors to discover the wines of the estate.
