About the estate
The Château Bas estate is located in the heart of Provence on the site of a former Gallo-Roman city, producing wines under the AOC Coteaux d'Aix en Provence and Méditerranée IGP denominations. The surrounding landscape of forests and valleys creates a unique environment rich in biodiversity and varied terroirs suited for viticulture. In April 2020, the property was acquired by Catherine Castéja, née Ballande, and her children. Together with their team, the family manages this historic location for wine production.
