About the estate

The Champagne Philippe Dechelle estate, located in Brasles in the Champagne region, traces its history back to 1902 when the foundation for working with the land was laid after the phylloxera crisis. In the 1980s, Philippe Dechelle began planting independent vineyards and producing estate-grown champagnes according to his own vision. The vineyards are situated on clay and limestone soils in the western Marne Valley, where farming follows sustainable principles. Today, the certified estate is run as a family venture by Philippe, Nadine, Clara, Alice, and Vincent. For the vinification, the winery relies on extended aging periods ranging from three to ten years to produce complex and refined champagnes.
