The Champagne house Champagne Locret-Lachaud is located in Hautvillers at the locality known as Le Point du Jour. Operating as a Récoltant-Manipulant, the family estate relies on manual harvesting and traditional artisanal methods. The wines originate from the terroir of Hautvillers, renowned as the domain of the monk Dom Pérignon. Beneath the nineteenth-century building lie older cellars where riddling, disgorging, and labeling take place. In 1992, a storage cellar was constructed to accommodate the majority of the production.
