About the estate

The Champagne house Champagne Laval Louïs in Cumières originated from the merger of the Louïs Philippe and Laval Marius estates, whose winemaking heritage spans several centuries. Operating as a Récoltant-Manipulant, the estate cultivates 4.40 hectares of south-facing vineyards across the terroirs of Cumières, Damery, and Hautvillers. The vineyards are managed using reasoned cultivation practices, and the grapes are harvested by hand. The traditional house press is used to process the three Champagne grape varieties of Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay, with the wines vinified according to traditional methods. The bottles mature for about three years in the estate's chalk cellars.
