About the estate
The family-run Chafor Wine Estate is situated in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside on terroir that once formed part of the ancient royal hunting forest of Bernwood. In 2009, Tim Chafor planted the first vines on the 9.31-hectare estate. The winery cultivates classic Champagne varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, alongside aromatic varieties including Madeleine Angevine and Bacchus. Cultivation takes place on soils varying from chalk to flinty clay. In addition to winemaking, the estate offers guided tours and wine tastings.
