About the estate
The Caves Orsat estate was founded in 1874 by Alphonse Orsat in Martigny in the Valais and looks back on a long history in winemaking. Following a cooperative model, the winery collaborates with numerous winegrowers to produce authentic wines rooted in the regional terroir. The portfolio includes ranges such as Primus Classicus for selected specialties as well as wines from historical villages of the region. The winery combines the traditional preservation of the wine heritage with a close connection to the local people.
