About the estate
The family-owned Cave Le Banneret estate is located in the wine-growing municipality of Chamoson in Valais and has been run by the Maye family for several generations. In 1986, Carlo and Jean-Charles Maye established their own winery to vinify the fruit from the family vineyards. The name of the estate pays tribute to their historical ancestor Alexandre Maye, an 18th-century figure from Valais. The winery cultivates its vineyards in an eco-responsible manner and holds certification from Bio Suisse. The produced range consists essentially of characterful single-varietal wines bearing the AOC Valais designation.
