The Cave La Madeleine estate was founded in 1991 by André Fontannaz and his wife Sandra in Vétroz, located in the Swiss region of Valais. Today, this traditional family-run winery operating within the AOC Valais denomination is shaped by the involvement of their daughters, Chloé as the oenologist and Camille in marketing. Head cellarman Marc-André Pitteloud has been a key part of the team since the very beginning. The daily work at the property is guided by core values such as sharing, authenticity, and the transmission of generational expertise. All members contribute their skills to uphold the estate's heritage.
