About the estate

The Castellani Spa company looks back on a long-standing history that began in Montecalvoli in the late 19th century with Alfredo Castellani. Over the generations, the family business expanded continuously and advanced into worldwide export. Following historical setbacks such as a major flood and a fire, the winery acquired estates like Poggio al Casone and Campomaggio and integrated younger family generations into the business. Today, Piergiorgio Castellani alongside Tommaso and Giacomo lead the estate. The winery combines its deep historical roots in Tuscany with ongoing research and technological innovation.
