About the estate

The history of the Casalone family in Monferrato began in 1734 with their ancestor Petrus Hieronymous Casalone and has since been carried on through several generations. Across ten hectares of vineyards located in the Bricco Santa Maria, Bricco Morlantino, San Benedetto, and Caplëtta sites, the estate cultivates traditional grape varieties such as Barbera, Grignolino, Freisa, and Cortese, alongside international varieties like Merlot and Pinot Noir. Special significance is attributed to the family's rediscovery of the historic Malvasia Greca grape variety during the 1980s. Farming is conducted according to integrated agriculture guidelines.

The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Barbera and Malvasia Moscata.
