About the estate

The Casa vinicola Caldirola winery traces its origins back to 1897 in Contra, a hamlet of Missaglia, where it was established as a tavern and wine bar. Over the decades, the estate evolved from local taverns to the global wine market, gaining worldwide appreciation notably through the La Cacciatora brand. From the nineteen-eighties and nineties onwards, export operations to international markets expanded significantly. Furthermore, the company maintained strong ties with the sports world and achieved Italian market leadership in the modern retail glass sector in the year 2000. Today, the estate offers a broad range of wines, including products from the Sicilia DOC, Soave DOC, and Soave Superiore DOCG denominations.
