Cardium Borászat

About the estate

The Cardium Borászat winery builds upon the 22-year history of the Kovács Pince cellar and entered the wine market under its new brand in 2019. Under the direction of winemaker Balázs Monostori, the estate produces light, aromatic and reductive white and rosé wines, as well as red wines and sparkling wines launched in the same year. The vineyards in Tök within the Etyek-Buda wine region are characterised by soils formed on limestone bedrock originating from the ancient Pannonian Sea. These geological conditions along with the calcareous deposits impart freshness, fruitiness and an elegant acidity structure to the wines. The estate also functions as a venue for various events and gatherings.
