About the estate
The Cantine Merinum estate is located in Vieste at the foot of the Umbra Forest in the heart of the Gargano National Park in Apulia. The project was initiated by Cinzia and Luigi to revive local winemaking traditions and enhance the area from an enological and wine tourism perspective. The organic wines are produced from indigenous grape varieties such as Bombino Bianco, Nero di Troia, and Malvasia Nera. In addition to winemaking, the family-run business manages an olive grove with ancient trees to produce extra virgin olive oil. The estate also offers guided vineyard tastings and various experiential activities in the region.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Nero di Troia and Bombino Bianco. The estate sells to horeca.
