About the estate

The Cantine Carpentiere winery cultivates vineyards at an altitude of 450 meters in the hills of the Alta Murgia National Park in Apulia. The vineyards on calcareous and stony soils are planted with native and international grape varieties such as Nero di Troia, Bombino Nero, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The karst-derived terroir and significant daily temperature variations provide the wines with freshness, minerality, and a balanced acid structure. The entire process, from managing the vines trained in the espalier or bush system to vinification and bottling, is carried out independently by the estate.
