The Cantina Ligios is a family-run estate founded in 2001 in the historical subregion of Anglona in Sardinia. Established by founders Bastiano and Carmela, the property spans a total area of 15 hectares, with six hectares dedicated to vineyards. The proximity to the sea provides a mild microclimate and imparts a distinctive saline note to the wines. The cultivated grape varieties include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cannonau, Syrah, and Vermentino. The production focuses primarily on long-aging red wines, which undergo extended skin contact and are aged in both stainless steel vats and oak barrels.
