About the estate
The Cantina cargiaghe winery was founded in 2006 by Angelo in northwestern Sardinia and is today run by Antonio. The approximately six hectares of vineyards span hilly and flat plots featuring schist as well as clay-limestone soils. The mild climate and persistent winds favor the cultivation of grape varieties such as Vermentino, Cagnulari, Cabernet, Carignano, Cannonau, and Moscato. The vines are cultivated using the Guyot and spurred cordon training systems. The estate produces a Vermentino di Sardegna DOC among its offerings.
