About the estate
The Brustbauer estate located in Mautern an der Donau in the Wachau looks back on a history dating back to 1885 and is run as a family business. In the vineyards, close-to-nature cultivation with a high proportion of manual labor in the steep slopes and the plain is practiced, consistently avoiding herbicides and insecticides. In the cellar, vinification is carried out resource-efficiently and without artificial interventions, fining, or technical cooling. The portfolio includes wines from the Wachau DAC denomination. Sales take place, among other ways, directly from the winery in Oberloiben in the Wachau.
