About the estate

The Brandl estate in Ziersdorf in the Weinviertel region looks back on a long history that began in 1209 as an economic estate of Lilienfeld Abbey. Since the late 18th century, the winery has been run by the family in the eighth generation and has evolved from a mixed farm into a specialized winegrowing operation. The vineyards extend across the hills of the Weinviertel and on the Wagram, producing fruity white wines, full-bodied red wines, sparkling wines, and sweet wines. Winemaking combines traditional processes with modern methods such as stainless steel tanks and cold fermentation to preserve the characteristics of the soils. The portfolio includes wines from the Weinviertel DAC and Wagram DAC appellations, distributed through partnerships and direct sales.
