About the estate
The Bodegas Viña Olabarri estate manages a total of 115 hectares of vineyards in various zones of the Rioja DOCa such as Haro, Cenicero, La Puebla, Assa, and Lanciego. The vineyards include parcels with different soil conditions and ages ranging from five to sixty years, which are partly owned and partly cultivated through long-term agreements with local winegrowers. The winery operates from two locations, including a 19th-century cellar in Anguciana and a modern facility in Haro equipped with stainless steel tanks and barrels for aging. Winemaking focuses on selecting grapes that express the respective climate and landscape of the region.
