About the estate

The Bodegas Señorío de Nava, S.A. estate was founded in 1986 and became one of the early wineries belonging to the Ribera del Duero designation. Since the early 2000s, the winery has been led by the Vázquez Muñoz-Calero family, focusing on traditional values and authenticity. The estate owns 140 hectares of vineyards with an average vine age of 40 years, of which 95 percent are planted with Tinto Fino. The local soils consist of a combination of clay, sand, gravel, and limestone, influenced by a severe climate. Today, the winery produces wines across the prominent denominations of Castile and León, including Ribera del Duero, Rueda, and Toro.
