About the estate
The family-owned enterprise Bodegas Rodriguez y Sanzo was founded in 2003 by Javier Rodríguez and María Sanzo in the Duero Valley. With roots in Rueda and activities in Rioja, the winery expanded its project in Toro in 2022 by acquiring a historic cellar in the old town. The portfolio includes the Whisba wine aged in whisky barrels as well as specialties from pre-phylloxera vineyards. Today, the estate maintains an international presence across five continents.
