About the estate
The López Cristóbal estate manages 70 hectares of its own vineyards in Roa within the Castilla y León region. The history of the winery is closely linked to the beginnings of the Ribera del Duero DO designation in the 1980s. Tinta del País, the local expression of Tempranillo, serves as the primary grape variety for the estate. For vinification and maturation, the winery combines advanced technological equipment with a barrel inventory of around 700 French and American oak casks.
