About the estate

The roots of the family behind Bodegas Launa in viticulture span back seven generations before the first winery was built in Villabuena in 1978. In 2006, the current facility was established in Laguardia within the Rioja DOCa region, situated at an altitude of 650 meters next to the Sierra Cantabria. Today, the family estate is managed in the ninth generation by the three siblings Iker, Unax, and Usuri. The winery cultivates 57 hectares of vineyards, the grapes of which serve as the foundation for their wines. In production, the estate combines traditional techniques with modern technological advancements.
