About the estate
The Bodegas las Orcas estate is located in Laguardia in the Basque Country within the Rioja DOCa denomination and is run as a sixth-generation family business. The winery was established in 1994 by Cristina San Pedro Rández and Raimundo Abando, who currently work together with their daughter Lucía Abando San Pedro. The estate spans 18 hectares of owned and controlled vineyards in a privileged location between the Sierra de Cantabria and the Ebro river. The wines are produced from the Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha, and Viura grape varieties. Their winemaking philosophy focuses on respecting the terroir while combining traditional craftsmanship with modern methods.
