About the estate
The Bodegas La Val winery is a historic estate of the Rías Baixas DO and one of the founders of the region. Established in 1985, the estate cultivates 94 hectares of vineyards primarily planted with Albariño across four large estates named Vilachán, Taboexa, Arantei, and Porto. The production combines traditional winemaking with the latest technology, making the company one of the few wineries in the region with a food safety certification. Luis Garrido and his team are responsible for crafting wines characterized by complexity, freshness, and aromatic power. A significant portion of the production is destined for the foreign market.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Alvarinho.
