About the estate

The Bodegas Heredad de Aduna estate is located in Samaniego in the heart of Rioja Alavesa and is run by the third and fourth generations. The winery is firmly rooted in the region's rich tradition while combining ancestral methods with state-of-the-art cellar technology. The vineyards are characterized by a dry and sunny climate, with the Tempranillo variety being predominantly cultivated. The portfolio of the estate, which produces under the Rioja DOCa denomination, includes fresh young wines as well as Crianza and Reserva bottlings aged in oak barrels. Depending on the wine style, production methods range from carbonic maceration to traditional destemming and oak aging.
