About the estate

The family-owned Bodegas Félix Lorenzo Cachazo in Pozaldez looks back on a history of over 75 years and belongs to the founding estates of the Rueda DO. Today, the winery is run by the sixth generation and is closely tied to the shaping and modern style of Verdejo. The historic heritage includes an 18th-century underground cellar as well as pre-phylloxera ungrafted vines on sandy soils in Alcazarén. Alongside the main grape variety Verdejo, the estate cultivates Sauvignon Blanc, Viura, and Palomino Fino, producing young white wines, barrel-fermented styles, sparkling wines, and traditional Dorados. The estate's wines are distributed to more than 20 export markets worldwide.
