About the estate
The Bodegas Castillo San Damián enterprise was founded in 1977 and is located in Ribadeo in the north of the province of Lugo. Originally established as a cooperative, the business converted into a limited company in 1993. Today, the winery features a storage capacity of over one million liters and an advanced bottling facility capable of producing 6,000 bottles per hour. Alongside wines from various grape varieties in bottles and bag-in-box formats, the portfolio also includes a vermouth and wines from the Utiel-Requena denomination under the CANDEAL brand. Distribution takes place directly in the local region as well as through partners across the Galician provinces and the Principality of Asturias.
