The Bodegas Benjamin de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia (Macán) winery is located in Samaniego in the Basque Country of Spain and operates within the Rioja DOCa denomination. The architectural design adapts to the natural slope of the terrain across four levels, allowing the winemaking process to rely on gravity. The facility consists of three interconnected structures dedicated to production, barrel aging, and bottle maturation. In terms of operations and construction, the estate focuses on sustainability through the use of solar panels, biomass, and natural ventilation. The winery is surrounded by a landscaped garden area spanning more than three hectares.
