About the estate
The cooperative winery Bodega Roquesan, Sociedad Cooperativa, located in Quemada in Castilla y León, was founded in 1964 by local winegrowers. The cooperative manages two hundred hectares of vineyards, with forty percent consisting of old vines situated at altitudes of up to nine hundred and ten meters in the La Calabaza and Las Casillas sites. Operating within the Ribera del Duero DO denomination, the portfolio comprises six distinct wines including rosé, young, oak-aged, crianza, reserva, and special releases. The estate places strong emphasis on the meticulous and sustainable cultivation of old vineyards alongside selective harvesting by hand. The wines are distributed directly from the winery.
