About the estate

The BJB Lago Winery is a family-run estate founded in 2021 and located in the Mátra wine region of Hungary. The foundation for the wines is carefully cultivated vineyards in Nagyréde, managed naturally with the help of a plant protection specialist. Winemaking involves minimal intervention, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, and no additives, allowing the terroir and vintage to be purely expressed. The portfolio features limited quantities of white, rosé, and red wines, alongside spontaneous experimental batches. These wines are characterized by freshness, balanced acidity, and unique aromatic profiles.
