About the estate
The organic Zollweghof Lana estate in South Tyrol is managed by the winemaking couple Franz Pfeifhofer and Irmgard Windegger. Franz Pfeifhofer grew up on the property and transitioned the estate to organic farming in 1990 before specialising in biodynamic agriculture. He is also among the founders of the association for fungus-resistant grape varieties in South Tyrol and cultivates these specific vines. Irmgard Windegger contributes extensive expertise in biodynamic winemaking and marketing to the estate operations. Together, they produce wines under the Alto Adige DOC denomination.
