About the estate

The Bergkirchner winery is a small family business located in Mitterarnsdorf on the southern bank of the Wachau, with a history dating back to 1856. The estate operates under organically certified cultivation in the Wachau DAC wine region since August 2023. Martin Bergkirchner leads the estate following training in Austria and abroad as well as several years of working at renowned wineries. Production centers on wines from sites such as the warmest location in Arnsdorf, the Ried Scheibenthal, featuring light loess soils. The focus rests on crafting wines with long aging potential, finesse, patience, and precision.
