About the estate
The Barone Pizzini winery was founded in 1870 by the brothers Enrico and Bernardino and looks back on a long tradition in Franciacorta. The approximately 60 hectares of vineyards are distributed across 30 different sites with an average vine age of fifteen years and an altitude between 200 and 350 meters above sea level. The soil features a complex composition of morainic and fluvioglacial deposits. Since 1998, the estate has operated according to organic viticulture principles, resulting in the production of the first organic Franciacorta in 2002. The comprehensive approach encompasses both agricultural methods and the bio-architectural design of the modern cellar.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Chardonnay.

A dark salmon-hued wine that commands patience, slowly revealing its story. The nose unfolds like bing cherry jam on toasted English muffin, mingling with dried roses and cream.
