About the estate
The Bal d’Isábena estate is located in Laguarres and represents the northernmost winery within the Somontano designation. Construction of the cellar began in 2003, utilizing historical family plots revived under the guidance of winemaker and enologist Enrique Larruy. Spanning 21 hectares of vineyards situated at altitudes above 700 meters, the estate cultivates four white and six red grape varieties exclusively as dry-farmed vines. Farming is conducted with respect for the surrounding environment to ensure the wines reflect the distinct characteristics of the local terroir.
