About the estate

The family-run Armin Kienesberger - Biodynamischer Weinbau estate was founded in 2010 in Schlüßlberg, Upper Austria, and cultivates two hectares of vineyards. The entire operation follows strict biodynamic Demeter guidelines, completely avoiding synthetic sprays or herbicides. Grape varieties such as Müller Thurgau, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Grüner Veltliner, Blauer Zweigelt, and Pinot Noir are cultivated on the steep slopes. In the cellar, winemaking relies on spontaneous fermentation, extended aging on the fine lees, gravity, and the absence of filtration and added sulfur. Numerous animals, including donkeys, goats, sheep, and chickens, are an integral part of the closed agricultural cycle.

The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Blanc. The estate sells to horeca and retail. Export markets include Germany.
