About the estate
The Ansitz Waldgries estate is located in Bolzano, South Tyrol, and was first mentioned in historical texts in 1242. The small winery has been managed by the Plattner family for almost 100 years and is currently run by Christian Plattner in the third generation. Vineyard work is defined by steep slopes, manual labor, and diligent cultivation. The estate focuses on the historical, indigenous red wine varieties Schiava, Lagrein, and Moscato Rosa.
The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Moscato Rosa and Lagrein.
