About the estate
The Aldahara winery originates from a viticultural project started by the Raso family in 1985 in the Somontano region. As a family-run agricultural business, they pioneered the cultivation of international grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, which were later joined by Tempranillo, Syrah, and Garnacha tinta. In total, the estate cultivates 28 hectares of vineyards with a focus on achieving high grape quality. In 2004, the second generation comprising David and Alejandro Raso began producing their own wines and established the name of the estate. Today, the portfolio includes young and fruit-forward wines as well as barrel-aged, Crianza, and single-varietal wines.
The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Merlot and Chardonnay.
