About the estate

The Agrovalente, Lda. estate is located near Tomar in central Portugal on lands owned by the same family since 1882. Protected by the Serra d’Aire, the vineyards are planted on gently sloping clay-limestone soils with varieties such as Aragonez, Castelão, Trincadeira, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Alicante Bouschet, and Fernão Pires. In the winery, traditional methods such as Algerian amphorae and stone lagares are combined with modern technology. Operating as a family-run business, the winery produces certified wines from the Tejo DOC denomination and offers wine tourism activities alongside its agricultural production.
