About the estate
The Agricola Franchini estate in Negrar di Valpolicella is run by Giuliano Franchini alongside his son Giulio, continuing a family winemaking tradition across generations. Across five hectares of vineyards in the hilly areas of Valpolicella Classica, the winery cultivates indigenous grape varieties such as Corvina veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara. Cultivation relies on traditional methods including the Veronese pergola system and historical dry-stone terraces known as marogne. Specific parcels are certified as heroic vineyards where harvesting is conducted entirely by hand, followed by a natural drying process for the grapes. Production encompasses all steps from manual harvesting and vinification to aging directly at the historic farmstead.
