About the estate
The Adega Ronsel do Sil estate was founded in 2010 in Parada de Sil within the Ribeira Sacra denomination of origin. It is a small winery rehabilitated from an old wine press, cultivating two hectares of vineyards. The entire harvest is done by hand on the steep terraces characteristic of the region. The cultivated grape varieties include the red grapes Mencía and Merenzao, as well as the white grapes Godello, Treixadura, and Dona Branca. These are used to craft artisan wines, produced either as young wines or with very brief aging in oak barrels.
