About the estate
Founded in 1999 by Mariano García and Javier Zaccagnini, the Aalto Bodegas y Viñedos estate is located in the Ribera del Duero DO wine region in Spain. Later, the Masaveu and Nozaleda families joined the project, contributing to its stability and consolidation. The wines are crafted with the goal of reflecting the diversity of the surrounding environment and achieving balance and complexity. Winemaker Mariano García follows a philosophy of minimal intervention to attain the maximum expression of the terroir. Situated in Quintanilla de Arriba, the winery cultivates a vineyard area of 130 hectares.
