Le domaine Schweighofer est une exploitation familiale située à Dürnstein dans la région de la Wachau. Michael Schweighofer dirige l'entreprise de ses parents, qu'il souhaitait déjà reprendre depuis son enfance. Depuis 2005, il est accompagné par Elke sur cette voie, tandis que ses parents continuent également d'apporter un grand soutien à l'exploitation. Le domaine s'étend sur cinq hectares de vignes produisant des vins bénéficiant de l'appellation Wachau DAC.
