Das Weingut Villa Le Prata bewirtschaftet eine Rebfläche von 3 ha in Montalcino in der Toscana und erzeugt Weine unter anderem in den Denominationen Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Rosso di Montalcino DOC und Toscana IGT. Die Weinberge liegen auf Höhenlagen zwischen rund 495 und 515 Metern mit unterschiedlichen Ausrichtungen und Bodenformationen aus dem Pliozän sowie der Oberkreide-Paläozän-Periode. Die Böden bestehen überwiegend aus sandigem Lehm, Ton sowie marokkanischem Kalkstein und weisen teils einen hohen Skelettanteil auf. Diese geologischen und klimatischen Bedingungen begünstigen eine ausgeglichene Entwicklung der Reben sowie die Entstehung eleganter, aromatischer und langlebiger Weine.
