Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Tenute Rubino wurde in den 1980er Jahren von Tommaso Rubino im Salento gegründet und wird heute in zweiter Generation von seinem Sohn Luigi und dessen Frau Romina geleitet. Die aus fünf verschiedenen Tenuten bestehende Rebfläche erstreckt sich über geschichtsträchtige Böden, auf denen bereits in römischer Zeit Weinbau betrieben wurde. Im Fokus des Betriebs stehen traditionelle apulische Rebsorten wie Negroamaro, Primitivo und der durch den Erhalt geprägte Susumaniello. Durch konsequente Qualitätsarbeit hat sich das Unternehmen zu einem festen Bestandteil der modernen apulischen Weinszene entwickelt. Die Weine werden heute international in über zwanzig Länder weltweit exportiert.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 22 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Susumaniello und Primitivo. Der Betrieb beliefert Handel. Exportiert wird unter anderem nach Schweiz, Deutschland, Österreich und Niederlande.
